Faith Is Different

Faith can’t see tomorrow. It can only imagine the moment.

Faith gives hope as you wait with great expectation to experience and relish in the unseen promise.

Explain. Why is faith so different?

Having faith is challenging. How do you tell someone to believe in what they cannot see? How can you explain to someone that you believe in what you can’t see?

Faith is different because it defies logic.

Last May, I had dreams where my debt would be paid, and that by May/June 2026, my life would be very different. It was March when I wrote this. Now, it’s May, and all I can think is…”Are we there yet?”

My life is no different today than it was last year. I still homeschool. No new income stream, and those debt collectors are still calling me – for now. It would seem like wishful thinking. Even a bit illogical. Why should I believe that shortly my life will be different?

Because I consider it a promise from my Heavenly Father, I choose to believe. Like Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Joseph, and David. Like the many men and women who believed then and believe today in the coming of Jesus.

In a world where “seeing is believing”, we walk like doubting Thomases. Always seeking signs or proof, but never the Truth. But faith!

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” – Hebrews 11:1. Faith is different because it requires belief and trust, not your understanding.
